Damascus, Syria, February 12th, 2008 Imad Mourgnieh was killed. He was believed to have been a Hezbollah chief of special operations abroad and was wanted for his participation in the planning and execution of the terror attacks on the Israeli Embassy and the Jewish Community Building in Buenos Aires in 1992 and 1994 that took the lives of 107 people. "Sixteen years later, the local Argentinean complicity has yet to be uncovered. The 'successful' completion of these two first operations has created a gaping vulnerable entryway, inviting a third ATTACK. A third one, that is on its way." The fact that these attacks remain exempt from punishment further leaves room for international terror strikes in the US, embassies in Africa, as well as for attacks in Bali in the East, in synagogues and Western institutions in Turkey, and for the bombings on trains in Madrid in March 2004, and London in July 2005, et al. Inconsistencies and contradictions in the official investigation leave many questions open and uncover many fabrications regarding the local involvement in the attacks. The plot thickens further when it appears that a controversy surrounds the actual investigation involving bribery, police corruption, and the Israeli Embassy. Some interviewed in the film are certain that the culprits who carried out the bombings enjoyed immunity and that it was a cover-up. A decade following these violent assaults, an un-expected encounter compels Shlomo Slutzky, to return to his place of birth, leaving his daily routine as a correspondent for an Argentinian newspaper in Israel and to embark upon a personal journey. During his travels he seeks to unveil the truth behind the bare facts that obscured the investigation of these unpenalized attacks. As no preventative measures have been undertaken since the assailments – many Jews and non-Jews alike in Argentina believe that a third one is on its way: A third mass terrorist attack. During his mission Slutzky finds himself struggling with both political and personal interests, yet also with the widespread indifference in his native Argentina, and in Israel, the place where he has chosen to live.
