Synopsis
A Yiddish Proverb says: "What soap is to the body, laughter is to the soul”.
Mischmasch observes a Yiddish Amateur Theatre Group in Stockholm performing on a professional stage for the first time. The diverse performers are unified in the aim to preserve the Yiddish language and bring it to the public. At the center of the film is Ben a pensioner, an active member of the Yiddish association. Stockholm is his New York, and at the night of the Premiere Stockholm becomes his Broadway.
