Jury’s statement: A charmingly intimate insight into the love and passion of old age, using flamenco dance to symbolize the determination to be fully alive in later life.

St. Petersburg Jewish Film Festival has picked the following titles: Children of the Sun, Josef and Maria, Day and Night and Hanuszka. The Festival takes place in the end of June, in Russia.

Ruth Diskin Films is proud to represent two out of five documentaries nominated for the Israeli Oscar Academy Awards: Involuntary by Boaz Rosenberg and Children of the Sun by Ran Tal. The closing Award Ceremony is to take place on Thursday July 31, 2008 in Tel Aviv.

Moshe Alafi, Director of Naf – A Street Kid for a tour in Toronto and the US East Coast. Amongst others, Alafi will present in the showing of his Film at the Al Green Theatre in Toronto on Monday, May 12th at 7:00 pm, and at the Lockerbie Methodist Church in Indianapolis on Wednesday, May 14th at 7:00 pm.

Wasted has taken the Best Documentary Award at the Television Category at CMCA International Film Festival closed on December 15th, 2007. The Film is to be aired on RAI 3, Italy during 2008. This Prize joins the Best Directing Award granted to Filmmaker Nurit Kedar at the Montenegro TV Festival in October, 2007.
Three Times Divorced has been selected for the Official Competition of Fipa-Biarritz International Film Festival, to take place 22-27 of January, 2008. Go in Peace, Rain has been selected for the Selective Fipatel Market, aimed mainly at French speaking countries' buyers.
