In July 1998 director Lena Chaplin shot a film on writer and critic Batya Gur for an Israeli television documentary program. The film was never broadcast. After her death, the film was edited and completed. A patchwork of interviews with Batya Gur and intimate encounters with her family and close friends reveals not only the fundamentals of her literature but also her views on Israel which are current and relevant even now.
