Synopsis
A unique experiment in politics and alternative lifestyles. The story of Eli Avivi, who is the president of the "State of Achziv", a bohemian enclave on the northern Israeli coast in the place where an Arab village once stood. The residents of the village were made to flee and in their place a community of politicians, writers and artists take root and create a unique convergence of time and place. Using rare archival footage and still photos, the film allows a peek at celebrities and ordinary folk who flock to the State of Achziv and to an alternate state of mind.
