• Elia survived the Armenian genocide and grew in an orphanage in Jerusalem. There he first discovered photography. For years he documented the city of Jerusalem, its people and its walls. His children and grandchildren discovered the hidden treasure of his photos in the attic, and proudly present his work in a photo shop and gallery for pilgrims.
